A mask is required to attend class. If you are unable to wear a mask, the Red Cross has mandated that you are not able to attend training at this time and must reschedule for a later date.
Class size is limited to current provincial government requirements for indoor gatherings.
Each participant will be provided with their own training equipment in-class and when not possible, items are disinfected before subsequent use.
**All first aid training equipment is disinfected after each class.**

• Having a hard time waking up
• Feeling confused
• Losing consciousness
• Mild to moderate shortness of breath
• Sore throat
• Runny nose
Within the last 14 days did you provide care or have close contact with a symptomatic person known or suspected to have COVID-19?
Have you travelled to any countries outside the province or Canada (including the United States) within the last 14 days?
If you answered YES to any of the above questions, we ask that you please stay home.
Red Cross offers blended learning for some of it's first aid programs. There is online component that must be completed before the 1 day course begins.

Standard first aid:
Level A is first aid and CPR for adults only.
Level C is first aid and CPR for adults, children & infants.
Emergency first aid, standard first aid and CPR/AED must be re-certified every 3 years. In order to qualify for the re-certification courses you must provide proof (your last training certificate) of the date your qualifications expire AND take the re-certification before they expire.
The Lifesaving Society deems its certifications to be "current" for 24 months from the certification date.

We offer a youth first aid course that is developed for teens from 14-18 years old, but there is no age limit for taking Emergency First Aid and Standard First Aid courses. We have had students in our classes as young as 14 years old.
Our curriculum meets all Red Cross, Lifesaving Society and WSIB requirements. We guarantee you will leave our class with the skills necessary to confidently help in emergency situations. Knowledge saves lives.
